Management Bios
Matthew Ostler started his training in auto repair in college. He attended Rose-Hulman and Purdue University. Matt majored in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. After gaining supervisory experience in another field, he made the switch to the auto repair industry and became an ASE Master certified technician. Matt worked at Auto Tire, Inc for 7 years as a supervisor and lead tech, and then purchased his own Snap-On Tools franchise. After building enough equity in that business, Matt was able to sell it and came to work for Sullivan’s Tire Plus as a service writer. Matt has since stepped into the role of Store Manager at the Danville location.
Kenny Hughes started at the Union 76 truck plaza in the early 70’s. After working in a number of different roles there, Kenny started his education with Lincoln Tech. Kenny worked as a General Service Tech by Guarantee Auto and soon moved into a lead technician role. By 1995, Kenny was the Regional Service Trainer for Guarantee Auto and covered 87 stores. He has been an ASE Master Certified tech for over 25 years and has continued to pursue education in the latest technologies. In addition to his ASE certification, Kenny holds certifications in Heavy Truck and Advanced Electronics. Kenny started as the shop foreman with the Goodyear store that was Mid-land Co-Op in 1995, and continued in that role after Craig Sullivan took over ownership of the store in 2007.
John Needler is currently working as the Manager of the Avon location. He has 9 years of experience as a customer service representative and manger in the auto repair industry. Before joining the Sullivan team, John worked with Bridgestone – Firestone. Prior to his experience in auto repair, John gathered 27 years of customer service experience. His work history makes him a valuable part of the team and he personifies the kind of service that Sullivan’s Tire Plus seeks to give each and every customer.
Mike Bagley started his automotive career in 1978 with Imperial Oil Co. Mike quickly moved through the management ranks there and by 1981 had 10 stores. In 1988, Mike moved to McQuick’s Oil Lube and soon became a franchise consultant and eventually worked as an Operations Manager for 7 stores. That experience prepared Mike to work as the General Manager for Sullivan’s Tire Plus, and he is responsible for business operations. Willie McFarland started at Goodyear in 1988 as a general service tech. Throughout the next decade, Willie worked for Goodyear and Ford, gaining valuable management experience in the process. In 1998, he left Ford started with New Augusta Auto Service, and worked there for 10 years as the General Manager. Willie has continued his education with Goodyear and Ford in customer service and sales. He is currently working as the Service and Garage Manager at Sullivan’s Tire Plus at the Avon Location. Craig Sullivan has been in business in Hendricks County for over 16 years. Before starting the Sullivan’s Tire Plus business, Craig started Sullivan’s Equipment, which provides professional grade tools and equipment to body shops all over the country. In 2007, Craig took over ownership of the Goodyear franchise located on the East side of Danville. After seeing tremendous success and growth at that location, Sullivan’s Tire Plus, Craig opened a second location in Avon in March of 2009.
